A new story for objects shaped by time.

Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese technique that repairs broken or chipped ceramics using natural lacquer, highlighting the cracks with gold or other materials.
Rather than hiding damage, it embraces it as part of the object’s beauty.

Maki-e, which also uses lacquer, is another traditional Japanese art form, in which designs are drawn with lacquer and decorated with gold or silver powder.

Based in Japan and France, we bring new value and life to each piece, sharing its beauty with the world.

Through urushi, we hope to let new stories bloom.

This is the vision of Fleurir Kintsugi.
